Maintenance Technician in Mechanics and Electricity

About the Role
As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring high technical availability of our production equipment in the laundry. The role is broad and varied, encompassing both operational maintenance and improvement work. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other maintenance technicians and production staff.
The work is structured with the support of our maintenance system MaintMaster and has a clear focus on preventive maintenance, operational reliability, and quality.
Responsibilities
In the role of maintenance technician, you will work with:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring production equipment in both mechanics and electricity
- Performing planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance plan
- Inspection and condition monitoring of machines to early identify deficiencies and reduce the risk of downtime
- Actively participating in improvement and optimization work for increased operational reliability and efficiency
- Collaboration with production to minimize production disruptions and ensure a good working environment
- Documentation of completed work in the maintenance system
- Other tasks within the maintenance department
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical education in electricity, automation, or equivalent
- Several years of experience in maintenance work in industrial operations
- Good knowledge in both mechanics and electricity
- Experience with maintenance systems (experience with MaintMaster is a plus)
- Experience from the food industry or other production operations is advantageous
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Knowledge of English is advantageous, and German is considered an extra plus, as several of our machine suppliers are located abroad.
